Santa's Arrival

The possibilities are endless!
Santa can arrive at your venue in different ways.

… in a sleigh drawn by ponies or horse, reindeers or camels
… in a ricksaw
… in a parade joined by different Christmas characters and musicians
… in a show

SPHERE CLOWN BAND CHRISTMAS SHOW

The "Twelve Days of Christmas" is based on what the kids in the audience want for Christmas; "Santa Claus is Coming" becomes a singing duel with kids and adults;  and everyone sings along with "Jingle Bells", "Rudolph" (complete with an audience answer section), and others.

Children will be surprised with this unusual idea.

About two weeks before the "arrival", a special present will be delivered at the venue. It is placed in a conspicuous place with a big sign saying: “Special Present - to be unwrapped on (date). Come and see what we've got for you."

On the day of the “arrival,” the box is taken in a hidden area. Santa is placed in the box seated on a chair which is mounted on a decorated flat-bed four-wheeled dolly. At about the same time a musical show begins and the dolly (with the box containing Santa) is wheeled out. Obviously, this gift will need to be unwrapped so the performers select several children from the audience who will unwrap the present.  During the show Santa will make the box move.  If the kids in the audience don't see the movement initially, they will be prompted by the performers. This will happen several times over the course of the show.

Finally, when the show ends, it's time to open the box and invite the pre-selected children to come up and do the honours and "Santa Arrives.”

Here is another great idea!  Characters such as Frosty the Snowman, a Fairy Princess, a Gold and Silver Jester, a Toy Soldier, the Queen of the Hearts (or others) can be added, there will definitely be musicians.

The story idea is that Santa has been working so hard gathering Christmas gifts for all kids.  He got tired and fell asleep. The objective then would be to wake him up.  The musicians will interrupt their performance several times and try all types of things to wake him up. If there are additional characters, they will each use the method they think will be most effective, for example blowing cold air, sprinkling (invisible) magic dust, telling a joke, etc.. Of course they all fail until somebody finally says they need the audience to participate with a huge and loud, "WAKE UP SANTA!"
